Roundwood Day Treatment Service is a 26-place acute day facility, which provides services for adults aged between 18-66 years who are living in the Brent East and South
areas. The service comprises of a multidisciplinary team who individually keywork and oversee assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of clients experiencing a range of mental health problems.
Roundwood’s objectives are to minimize the need for admission to hospital and to facilitate early discharge from inpatient services through individual therapies, group work and mental health monitoring.
Referrals are generally accepted from the Brent Assessment Team or via specialist mental health services such as inpatient wards and the community mental health team (Brent East CMHT). Roundwood will liase with other agencies such as the voluntary sectors, e.g. ‘Quest’, and will refer to other specialities, such as Psychotherapy, Brent Alcohol Services, etc, if there is such a need for an individual client.
The service is open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, closing on Thursday afternoon to facilitate staff training. Tea/coffee making facilities are available for all service users attending on that day.
