Service Description

Brent Early Intervention Team works with people from the age of 18-35 who have a first episode of psychosis.

This service aims to provide intensive support and treatment to services users and their family at an early stage of their illness, by offering a psychosocial and relapse approach. It is anticipated that service users will remain in contact with the service for a period of 3 years.

The team is multidisciplinary with a Consultant Psychiatrist, Team Manager, Psychologist Family Therapist and Care Coordinators.

Referrals to this service are currently made through the three Community Mental Health Teams based in the borough.

Opening times are:  Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
