Fairfields House is a 26-bedded inpatient unit providing long term care for people suffering from severe enduring mental health problems.
In-house care is provided by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, Occupational Therapists, an Art Therapist and a Psychologist. The philosophy of the Unit is to provide comprehensive and individualised care within the framework that individuals should have basic human rights and responsibilities afforded to them in order to meet their developmental and aspirational needs using 'positive' affirmation. The house is divided into three floors and each floor caters for clients with specific needs.
Fairfields House provides a service for adults up to 65 requiring intensive 24-hour care within a therapeutic but homely environment.
