Service Description

Kingsbury HospitalThe Kingswood Centre is a specialist 14-bedded service for adults aged 18-65 with learning disabilities and mental health or challenging behaviour needs. The hospital serves the Brent area and all other neighbouring boroughs. It has two assessment and treatment units, an out-patients department and an intensive support service that provides intensive support at home and in residential units.

This service is supported by a team of multidisciplinary staff including: psychologists; physiotherapists; psychiatrists; nursing staff; speech and language therapists; occupational therapists; music therapists; administration; and advocacy staff. Referral to this service is usually made through the Joint Learning Disability Team, however all boroughs can request a referrals form from the Referral Co-ordinator, Patricia Richards on: 020 8238 0911.
