We offer the following services:

Family Therapy

We like to think of family in the broadest sense of the word and as many members of your family as you find useful can attend family therapy sessions. This means you can attend with an aunt, cousin, an estranged relative, parent of a child, significant friend or adoptive family –whoever is appropriate to your situation. Often our clients find it helpful to attend with another professional who is involved in their care or their children’s care.

Group Support for Relatives

The group is recommended for anyone who is affected by someone else's substance use or addictive behaviour. It is designed to offer relatives space to share their experiences and support each other. The group is also a forum for sharing useful information, for example regarding carer's services in the borough, and is facilitated by an experienced member of our staff team.

At present we run the group at two locations:

  • Wednesdays 11am - 12:30pm: Family Therapy Service: Unit 5, 1-31 Elkstone Road W10 5NT
  • Thursdays 11am - 12:30pm: 5 Wolverton Gardens W6 7DY

Couple Therapy

We offer a service to couples whose relationship is being affected by substance use, irrespective of their marital status, sexuality, gender, or whether or not they are living together. Our aim is to provide a safe setting in which partners can explore their relationship difficulties. We seek to give couples a greater understanding of their relationship so that they can either function better together or make the decision to separate.

Individual Therapy

We are happy to accept referrals for individual adult clients. Our only criteria are that the individual must be referred for relationship issues in connection with substance misuse. When seeing individual clients we are always aware of their wider context. We understand that people are part of a community and not simply isolated individuals. This thinking is reflected in our individual, family and couple work.

Individual Therapy with Young People

This is a new, specialist service for young people aged 18 and below who have difficulties caused by their own or someone else’s substance misuse. The service uses creative methods to engage young people in therapy within a safe environment. The individual’s family or friends are welcome to attend the sessions.
