The Psychologist provides clinical assessment and therapy for patients dealing with a range of problems affecting their mental health (i.e. depression, anxiety, panic attacks, adjustment issues, etc). The service also provides cognitive assessment for patients with early diagnosis of dementia as a part of memory clinic.
These services can be provided in the clients home or from the Outpatient Clinic at Belvedere Day Hospital. The service is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9am-5pm.
Referrals to the psychology service can be made by consultant psychiatrists, community mental health nurses, occupational therapist and the Belvedere Day Hospital Team.
