Ellington Ward is a 13-bed assessment ward located in the Mental Health Centre at Northwick Park Hospital.
We provide short-term stay for assessment and treatment to Harrow residents over 65 years of age who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
We are staffed by a team of:
- Psychiatrists and doctors
- Nurses and care assistants
- Psychologists
- Occupational Therapists
Support and advice to individual patients and their carers are provided along with a range of individual and group therapies.
Individuals may be referred to the service following consultation with the consultant psychiatrists by your GP, community mental health worker, A&E or other medical teams.
