Clinical psychology services are offered to the paediatric inpatient wards, the neonatal intensive care unit, paediatric medical and surgical outpatient clinic and paediatric specialist teams eg gastroenterology, diabetes, oncology craniofacial, orthopaedic and HIV/Family clinic. These services include clinical work with children, adolescents and their families, plus indirect work (eg consultation, teaching and training, liaison, research and service development).
A range of treatment models are offered with an emphasis upon combining approaches and tailoring interventions to suit the particular case.
Paediatric psychology services are also available at the Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, Central Middlesex, Hillingdon and Northwick Park Hospitals.
