The Hillingdon Primary Care Counselling Services provides a GP based counselling service to residents of Hillingdon aged 16 and over who experience mild to moderate common mental health problems and who meet the service’s referral criteria and may benefit from time-limited assessment and counselling. Referrals are via GPs and occasionally secondary mental health services. Counselling is provided in GP surgeries, health centres or community bases and operates Monday –Friday usually between 9am and 5pm but may vary according to room availability in surgeries.
