Our Facilities
The service was opened in February 2007 following the complete refurbishment of St Charles Mental Health Unit in Ladbroke Grove. The ward has 10 individual en-suite single bedrooms and has been designed with the needs of its female client group in mind and includes:
- Tastefully decorated, en-suite bedrooms
- Large, accessible well-tended garden
- Art room, gym room and assisted daily living kitchen
- Lounges and large TV room
- Outside patio with a quiet area
- Private family visiting area
- Dining room and 24 hour beverage bar
- Personal laundry room and private patient payphone cubicle
- Interview rooms
- Education/activity room
The service is provided within a purpose-built locked facility. Patients have supervised access to the hospital gardens and local community facilities where appropriate.
