Service Description

Vincent Square ClinicThe Vincent Square Clinic offers a comprehensive range of specialist services for women and men aged 16 or over suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other eating disorders.

An evidence based stepped care approach to treatment allows patients to move flexibly through a range of intensities of care, according to clinical need and readiness for change. Components of care include outpatient, day-patient and in-patient care. The service provides treatment for 12 inpatients and 8-day patients at any one time, as well as an extremely active outpatient department.

The clinic is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team, which includes doctors, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, family therapist, dietician, catering and domestic staff, administrative staff and physiotherapist.

Patients can access our service via a number of routes. In the local boroughs of Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hillingdon, referrals can be made through Community Mental Health Teams. In Ealing and Hounslow, referrals are made through the local outpatient Eating Disorder Services.
The clinic also takes national NHS referrals from GPs, local mental health services or other professionals.  To discuss referrals or patient care please feel free to contact the liaison nurse service, Dr Frances Connan (Consultant Psychiatrist) or Josephine Honour (Clinic Service Manager) on the above number.
