Service description:
The Horton Haven is a 67 bedded community based facility located in Epsom Surrey. The Horton Haven provides a homely environment for people with mental health problems. A qualified and experienced team support the residents in all aspects of daily living and life skills. A Social Centre is supported by volunteer groups, and an Advocacy Service is available. Three vehicles are at our disposal.
Referral forms obtained from the Haven Office are completed and forwarded to the Modern Matron. Following an assessment, the Consultant Psychiatrist and Team make a decision regarding placement that the Purchasing Authority must approve.
Residents will have a history of mental health problems that require support and assistance. Cultural and religious needs will be identified and addressed.
Rushett and Westfield Houses are modern three-storey residences built in 1983. Each house comprises of nine three bedded, self-contained flats for 26 residents, staffed 24-hours a day.
Rose Cottage, West Cottage and Shrubbery House are group homes for a maximum of 16 residents within their own gardens. Residents are responsible for their homes with support from qualified staff during Monday-Friday.
