The clinic is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of 39 specialist staff including a consultant psychiatrist, consultant psychologist, occupational therapists, social worker, family therapist, cognitive analytical therapist, dietician, physiotherapists, liaison nurses and nursing staff.

Service Manager - Josephine Honour

Josephine is responsible for the overall operational and strategic management of the eating disorders service at CNWL. She has worked in the NHS for the past 28 years and for the last 12 years managing clinical teams and in general management. During this time Josephine has been involved in managing a number of signficant changes in health service settings including setting up day centres and community mental health teams. Josephine has a post graduate diploma in management and is a bachelor of science in health studies. 


Consultant Psychiatrist  - Frances Connan

Frances is the lead clinican for the Vincent Square Clinic Eating Disorder Service including provision of medical and psychiatric support across all components of the services. She has also taken a lead role in modernising and establishing services the Clinic since its re-launch in April 2002. In addition, Frances is the chair of the London Development Centre Eating Disorders Network Steering Group and she has established a North West London Sector Eating Disorders Network to ensure collaborative work between the healthcare providers in the area. Frances has published numerous book chapters and peer review publications.

 

Consultant Psychologist - Glenn Waller

Glenn is a consultant clinical psychologist and has worked in the field of eating disorders for 18 years. He specialises in cognitive behavioural treatments for the full range of cases. He has recently co-authored a book on this topic (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for the Eating Disorders: A Comprehensive Treatment Guide) which is was published in March 2007. He is professor of psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, with a considerable record of publishing basic and clinically applied research.

 

Modern Matron - Lorna Elliott

Lorna joined the Vincent Square Clinic in July 2007 having worked with children, teenagers and adults with eating disorders in both in-patient and out patient settings for the past seven years. She is completing an MA in Working Psychodynamically with People with Eating Disorders. Prior to this, Lorna had ten years experience of working in the voluntary sector and, as a senior manager, gained experience in developing marketing and service development strategies and managing contracts.

In her role today Lorna is responsible for overseeing the quality of care experienced by patients. She is working on involving service users in new roles including Clinical Governance, aspects of staff selection and monitoring standards of cleanliness and satisfaction with the care environment.
