The Out of Hours Service operates out of the reception area of the Paterson Centre Monday - Friday between 17:00 and 23:00 and at the weekends and Bank Holidays 14:00 - 19:00.
The team is comprised of a Psychiatrist, an Approved Social Worker, a Community Mental Health Nurse and an administrator. The aim is to respond to urgent and crisis situations, which appear to be unable to wait until the following day. There is an open referral system, which welcomes self-referral.
The Service gives priority to Community and Mental Health Act assessments within the North Westminster catchment area.
The Service does not see people with primary drug or alcohol problems.
