The South Paddington Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) is a multidisciplinary team made up of health and social services professionals. We work primarily in the W2 area, which includes parts of Paddington, Bayswater, Edgware Road and Westbourne Park.
We provide an assessment service to anyone who may be suffering from a mental health problem and offer longer term community support to people whose mental health problems are too serious for them to manage alone. We also provide support and advice to carers of our clients.
The team aims to help our clients lead as full and independent a life as they can manage and, wherever possible, to bring them to the point where they can safely be discharged back to the care of their GP.
Referrals are taken through the Paddington Duty Team and can come from any source, including the client's GP, as well as self-presentation or a phone call by the client, a family member or friend. Phone: 020 7266 9604. Fax: 020 7266 9611.
