The Intensively Staffed House is a Ward for twelve people with severe long enduring mental health problems. It can accept people who are on section of the MHA 1983.
Staffing is minimal. We offer medical and nursing care.
The house opened in response to the closure of a large psychiatric hospital over 10 years ago so all residents are aged between late 50`s and 80`s .The majority being over 60 years old. Referrals are made to Dr Tony Nayani based at the Gordon Hospital. Referrals are considered only from Doctors and Care Managers. Prospective clients need to be entitled to housing within Westminster and be under the care of Westminster Community Mental Health Team
