Poem
My first day here was shocking and terrifying,
I was new and shy,
And everyone was tall and high,
Two girls came over to me,
They were not very glee,
I felt very scared,
As I glared at the manager,
But then I thought,
He looked nice and kind and as though he had his own mind.
They staff were all nearly girls,
I met a lady called Camilla with curls, black hair and smiling face with
Very nice clothes,
I thought they’d have surgical gowns,
And big frowns.
BUT IT WASN’T THAT
SCARY AS I FOUND OUT

Collingham Gardens is a child and family unit. It looks after children that are ill or need extra help. We also have family workers which works with the parents. We go horse riding, swimming, and on Wednesday the parents come to visit their children. Friday’s we go home. Our parents pick us up and we stay the weekend. Mondays we come back to Collingham. And then we do the same thing again.
