Ex clients (parents and children) are actively involved in shaping current services and are also co-working with staff in a number of projects based in the MFS and in several primary and secondary schools in Westminster.
Jane Dutton, Florence Chambers and Jenny Summer have taken the lead in developing a Service Users Group. This is a small but regularly attended group which meets three times a year to discuss service users’ experiences of the clinic, to develop positive action strategies together and to provide a bridge between Trust wide developments with service users and the concerns of those from the Marlborough community.
Two further initiatives have developed from this group;
. A small scale audit on children’s views of the service, and their ideas for an information booklet for children.
· A group for parents to meet together and discuss parenting difficulties and successes. This is facilitated by Jane Dutton and Jenny Summer, on a monthly basis.
