Oak Tree Ward is an assessment facility for a maximum of 24 patients. It specialises in the assessment of older adults aged over 65 years, with primary functional mental health problems. Assessment and treatment follow a multidisciplinary approach. Staff of various grades participate in the assessment planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. They are supported by psychologists, occupational therapists and, when required, physical therapists from the Hillingdon hospital.
